So, Saturday Freakstorm-of-a-weather in Melbourne resulted in damages and craziness.
Being outside the house was like being in the set of The Day After Tomorrow except you actually feel too curious and excited instead of scared.

Anyhoo, i managed to capture a few of the happenings on my mobile (yeah, thank God for the invention of a camera phone).
So here they are

↑↑↑ Huge hailstorm in the middle of the city... Yes, those are ice

↑↑↑ Flood on the main road

↑↑↑ Leaves fallen from the trees, thanks to the wind/water/hail

Found this image while reading VOGUE AMERICA in a train station's newsagent a while ago.
This particular editorial was titled "FRENCH OPEN", styled by my ultimate hero GRACE CODINGTON and was featured in the October 2009 issue.
For some reason, this one image stuck in my head, i love it.. i didn't know much about Karlie back then, but i always remember her from this photoshoot.

Anyway, just thought i'd share it with you.

Went to see Bride Wars with Miss S today.
It's hilarious and touching on some part, I actually love it. It made me cry.

Anyway, on the way to the city whilst waiting for the tram,
a lady went up to me and go "Do you have a ticket?"
To which I answered, "No."
So she gave me her ticket (which was a 2-hour), and when I asked why, she simply replied "Cause I'm going home."
Fair 'nuff.
I'm actually pleasantly surprised by this small random act of kindness (well i think it's kindness anyway, she saved me from buying a ticket cause I was stupid enough to leave my tram ticket at work).
Kindness actually still exists in this old, materialistic world.
So I promised myself pay her forward, and do small Act of Random Kindess (ARK - remember Evan Almighty).
What goes around comes around, so remember, every single deed counts: pay it forward.

okay so Australian Open is back on again.
honnestly i've never been much of a tennis girl.. took me a while to get a grasp of the rules and scoring,

well been a long while since i last wrote something here.
life's been alrite again, things seem to fall back to their places, status quo has returned and equilibrium maintained.
finished school for the year, better results than i expected.
no fail means no repeat. so yay for that..

as some of you might have read, i'm closing Need-A-Porter.. for good.
i find that there are gazillions of other more established (and probably more interesting) fashion blogs on the net
and i'm over it. lol

it was filthy disgusting.

i have unhealthy obsession of looking at anything to do with shoes: the shoe department, fashion magazines (if only there's a magazine dedicated for SHOES only!!), designer runways, people's feet (with their shoes on only!), Sex & the City episodes (for their shoes too), and obviously, my own small-but-steadily-growing collection.

i recognise people by their shoes. no scratch that.. i find it easier to remember people by their shoes.
i spend unhealthy amount of $$$ buying pairs and pairs of gorgeous heels and flats.
and now i'm broke because of the last pair that i bought.
